Single Release to country radio late February early March |
 |
Big splash at CRS (Country Radio Seminar-2008. This is in
early March 2008 (March 5-7)
there are several marketing/advertising opportunities
associated with CRS that we could take advantage of, such as
banners, bathroom billboards, background music throughout
the Renaissance Hotel, a CD insert in the registration bag,
and even a showcase opportunity. The extent of Wind-up's
participation really depends on our establishing the budget to
launch Eric. Prices for participation range anywhere
from $1,600 to $10,000. However, the deadline is fast
approaching and opportunities are closing as other labels
are taking advantage of them. |

Radio Promotion-
In addition to taking advantage of Country Radio Seminar, The ACM
Awards and other calendar events where radio decision-makers will
already be present, Eric should embark on an 8-week radio tour, 2
weeks per region. Only when artists become “real” to radio through
this process does the major bonding between the kingmakers and acts
in Country begin. The first 4 weeks would be dedicated to stations most
likely to give Eric early support; the second 4 weeks would be
dedicated to going back out to see some of the tougher nuts to
crack. Radio marketing dollars dedicated to live performance by
Eric for some key stations across the country will be critical
during setup as well. |
 |
Touring-would be to use some of our influence/contacts to
align Eric in front of another act to perform at significant
"name" venues, such as the Crystal Palace, etc. |
 |
Use our influence to align Eric with the right Agency and
Management company |
 |
Use our influence with retail relationships and all other
promotional opportunities |
